Membership Development Coordinator

We are excited to announce the addition of a new membership development coordinator position to the EMRA board – a role designed to foster the relationship between EMRA and its growing membership, and act as a liaison between the organization and its partner associations.

The membership development coordinator must make a two-year commitment to EMRA. Travel requirements will be consistent with general board travel (four meetings and possibly AMA meetings). In addition to general board duties, responsibilities during this term will also include:

  • Increasing EMRA membership
  • Adding value to EMRA membership by exploring member needs, and addressing member needs and adding benefits
  • Coordinating regional conferences and increasing EMRA’s visibility to members
  • Coordinating the activities of EMRA liaisons – including, but not limited to, AMA/ ACOEP/SAEM and associated academies
  • Championing the cause of resident work life/wellness and making regular contributions to EM Resident
  • Serving as a board liaison to EMRA’s Research Committee
