EMRA Spotlight, Education

Meet Sarah Ring, MD

We're pleased to introduce Sarah Ring, MD, chair-elect of the EMRA Education Committee, 2020-2021.

Sarah RingProgram: Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai

Your goal as an EMRA leader: To bring relevant programming to all members. I want to help all residents, fellows, medical students, etc. recognize their roles and capacities to be educators in the ED.

If I weren't an emergency physician, I would be: An outdoor adventure gear tester - look it up; it's pretty cool.

Favorite life hack for night shifts: Start with cafe con leche, strong enough that you feel your hair growing. 2/3rds of way through when you're crashing from that: chocolate.

Last non-textbook I read: "The Moment of Lift" by Melinda Gates
