EMRA Welcomes New Executive Director

The Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association Board of Directors has named Leah Stefanini, CMP, as executive director of the 20,000-member strong nonprofit.

Ms. Stefanini brings nearly 20 years of experience in nonprofit association leadership, including meeting planning, publishing, and operations roles with EMRA, the American College of Emergency Physicians, the Council of Residency Directors in Emergency Medicine, the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants, and the Emergency Medicine Foundation.

Additionally, she has served in national leadership roles with the Professional Convention Management Association Gulf States Chapter.

“We are thrilled to recognize Leah in this new role,” said EMRA President Polly Wiltz, DO. “She has dedicated herself to helping EMRA grow and thrive, and we’re excited about our future with her at the helm.”

Ms. Stefanini’s goal is to further EMRA’s mission while supporting the vision of the members.

“I am beyond honored to support EMRA in this new way,” she said. “I believe in the work our members are doing, and I’m incredibly proud to be part of it.”
