The Emergency Medicine residency at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills is a four-year program designed to develop residents into mature, responsible emergency medicine specialists who provide and plan quality emergency health services.

  • standards for training are those set by the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Medicine (ACOEP)
  • through supervision and continual evaluation, we monitor the progress of our residents and graduate those worthy of practicing as osteopathic emergency physicians
  • residents also should be qualified and eligible for certification by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
