EMRA Spotlight, International Committee

Meet Travis Wassermann, MD, MPH

We're pleased to introduce Travis Wassermann, MD, MPH, chair-elect of the EMRA International Committee, 2020-2021.

Travis Wassermann, MD, MPHProgram: Loyola University Medical Center

Your goal as an EMRA leader: To help connect EM residents who are interested in global health with opportunities to contribute.

Why serve as an EMRA leader?
It lets you meet other current and future leaders in the EM field you're interested in.

If I weren't an emergency physician I would be: Doing community development work in a refugee camp somewhere.

Last non-textbook I read: "No Good Men Among the Living" by Anand Gopal. Though my last couple before that were dollar store novels, which are probably my favorite way to read -- like a blind date with a book.
