The EMRA Representative Council and the Board of Directors adopts many policies on diverse issues in our usual course of business. Over time, the policy compendium grows in size and complexity, often containing outdated, unfulfilled, or internally inconsistent policies. Therefore, we have adopted a sunset mechanism to periodically review the policy compendium and suggest revisions. This mechanism helps us keep the compendium consistent, current, review our history, and ensure adopted policies are implemented.

The Policy Review committee meets between the fall and spring meetings largely through email. This committee is composed of your Council Officers, the EMRA President and Immediate Past President, the Legislative Advisor, and two program representatives. The committee is appointed sixty days prior to the fall Representative Council meeting. If you are interested in serving, please email EMRA Staff with your curriculum vitae by the deadline.
