EMRA Medical Student Council and CORD ResidencyCAS - July Update
EMRA’s Medical Student Council continues its collaboration with the Council of Residency Directors (CORD) to support students through the transition to ResidencyCAS for the 2025–2026 application cycle!
For July updates, CORD was able to confirm that 100% of EM residency programs will be using ResidencyCAS this application cycle! As you continue to build your application, keep in mind the deadline for submission is September 24th.
Just as a reminder, if you and your partner are planning to participate in the couples match this year, ResidencyCAS does support the couples match process in coordination with the NRMP. You’ll each submit your own applications individually through ResidencyCAS (or ERAS depending on partner specialty), and pair your rank lists through the NRMP using the couples function.
If you have specific questions about how couples matching interacts with ResidencyCAS or any other application related questions, we want to hear them! Drop your questions here.
