EMRA*Cast Podcast Host Application

Audio Submission

Please provide a brief audio recording answering this question: Why do you want to be an EMRA*Cast host?
This must be recorded by you, and any production or editing must be done by you - do not submit a recording that has been engineered by others. Beginners are welcome! We will teach editing and production skills in this fellowship; we want to know why you're interested in the opportunity.

The EMRA*Cast fellowship requires significant time commitments. Please ensure your program director understands and agrees that you will be allowed to meet these expectations:

  • Attendance at all 4 days of ACEP Scientific Assembly (not including travel days; EMRA provides partial travel stipend)
  • Attendance at a spring conference (not including travel days; EMRA provides partial travel stipend)
  • Monthly curriculum sessions (1-2 hrs/month, virtual)
  • Required content creation including time to schedule and conduct interviews, then edit and produce the audio (5-6 hrs/month)

THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR'S LETTER OF SUPPORT INDICATES S/HE HAS BEEN MADE AWARE OF, AND HAS AGREED TO, THESE COMMITMENTS AND WILL ACCOMMODATE YOUR PARTICIPATION IN ALL RESPECTS.
