Theresa Tran’s ability to understand and explain how the business of medicine affects patient care has raised the bar in EM. Her work on surprise billing, scope of practice, tort law, and more has elevated the collective knowledge of the specialty, and her role as an educational leader and mentor ensures progress will grow exponentially.
