Abhi Mehrotra, MD, MBA, FACEP

Abhi Mehrotra, MD, MBA (@Abhi_MD) is Vice Chair of Operations and Strategic Initiatives at the University of North Carolina Department of Emergency Medicine. He is also Medical Director of the Hillsborough Campus Emergency Department. An MBA graduate, he is active with the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, teaching healthcare operations and mentoring entrepreneurship classes. He is a co-founder and CEO of a local medical scribe company. He continues to be involved in ACEP and NCCEP. Most importantly, he has an incredibly supportive wife and two amazing children!

Over 400 applications were reviewed by the selection committee, comprised of Steven J. Stack, MD, MBA, FACEP, Zach Jarou, MD, Omar Z. Maniya, MD, MBA, Hannah Hughes, MD, MBA, Ven Subramanyam, MD, Erin Karl, MD, and Jazmyn Shaw.
