Carrie de Moor, MD, FACEP (@cdemoormd) is the CEO of Code 3 Emergency Partners and described as a “female entrepreneur and innovator” who has “revolutionized the business model of freestanding ERs.” Dr. de Moor started Code 3 Emergency Partners just four years ago and has expanded the company’s reach to seven freestanding emergency departments and urgent cares, including the first ER in an airport, Dallas/Fort-Worth. Under her leadership, Code 3 has grown to employ 120 physicians. She was recognized as one of Dallas Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 in 2018.

Over 400 applications were reviewed by the selection committee, comprised of Steven J. Stack, MD, MBA, FACEP, Zach Jarou, MD, Omar Z. Maniya, MD, MBA, Hannah Hughes, MD, MBA, Ven Subramanyam, MD, Erin Karl, MD, and Jazmyn Shaw.
